[Also in Division A1] A power driven cutting device, e.g. a rotary hedge cutter is provided with a movable shroud which normally shrouds the blade or blades and has manually-operable means for exposing the cutting area, preferably together with a manually operable power switch loaded in the " off " position so that both the operators hands are occupied during use. The shroud comprises a main frame 1, 2 and a movable part 9 operated against spring means 17, 18 by a handgrip 10, 11. Compression of lever 11 into fixed arm 10 about pivot 13, rotates part 9 between the plates 1, 2 to expose the blade 7. |
