Method of producing corner connection between two wooden frames of door or window

The corner is formed by a butting connection of the end of a cross shank to the angular face of a long shank. After planing, rabbeting and chamfering the long shanks, the latter and the cross shanks are cut to size. The cross shanks are milled and butted at both ends to match the long shank abutment. Near the end of the cross shanks are formed blind bores for anchor bolts. These bores are crossed by pin bores. Transverse bores are formed near the end of the long shanks and aligned with the pin bore after assembly. Then follows the surface finishing and shank assembly by clamping screws.
