<p>A suspension end cap for railway equipment including at least one pin (8) connected to the cap body by a joining assembly (9). The assembly (9) for joining the pin to the cap includes a bore (10) machined through a projecting portion of the shell forming the cap body, said projecting portion having an exposed surface forming a contact face, as well as a pin with one end fitted and welded into the bore. The cross-section of said pin end is such that it fits into the bore with a predetermined clearance and said pin supports a joining assembly which, even before the pin end is welded, prevents it from translating in the bore in the direction in which it is inserted therein.</p> |
