The electric contact of the spray gun (20) is formed by pref. two initiators (26,28) connected at one end of the cable (36). Two switch amplifiers (28,40) for the initiators are provided at the other end of the multi core cable (36). Their outputs are arranged in series and are connected with a switching system of the pump (34). So that only with a response of both amplifiers (38,40), the pump (34) can be connected in the power condition with the operation of the trigger (22). The input of the first switch amplifier (38) is connected across two cores (46,48) of the cable (36) with the initiators. The input of the other amplifier (40) is connected across the third core (50), also a further connection (core 46) with the second initiator or a corresp. reserve circuit (42,44).
