Wheel of improved circumferential strength

The circular solid tyre (1) has a circumferential depression(3) in its inner surface, in to which a similarly-conformed region of the wheel rim (4) fits. The external profile of the wheel rim is corrugated in the form of sine waves, pressed into the cylindrical circumference. A conically-shaped region of the wheel (5) agrees with a similar shape in the tyre, facilitating push-fitting. The outer edge of the wheel pressing may be turned inward to form a ring-bead.
