The insert forms a lining (1) for the shaft, and accommodates at the top a cover (3) detachably from fixing devices (12) between the sidewalls (2). The latter contains anchor tubes (8) protruding on the inside and outside, and which are in line with each other in the axial direction. These accommodate between them a barrier tube (11) clamped in place by locknuts (10) on its screwed ends. The fixing devices can be pulled tight in the radial direction of the barrier tube, which can have clamping shoulders at its ends, formed by sleeves lockable in position on it. Hooks can be used as the fixing devices.
