The invention comprises compounds of formula wherein Ar is Ph optionally substituted by halogen, NO 2 , OH, alkyl or alkoxy; R 1 and R 3 are pyrrolidino, piperidino or piperazino, optionally substituted by OH or alkyl, or one of R 1 and R 3 may be morpholino, optionally alkyl-substituted; and R 2 is dialkylamino, alkyl cycloalkylamino or alkyl aralkylamino, substituted by 1 or more OH group; and acid addition salts thereof. These compounds are prepared by reacting with R, H, R 2 H or R 3 H (as required), the corresponding precursor of the above compounds having in place of either R 1 and/or R 3 or R 2 , halogen atoms or substituted OH or SH groups. Pharmaceutical compositions for oral, rectal or parenteral administration comprise compounds of the above formula with a conventional carrier or excipient. The compounds have a cardiovascular, and especially a coronarydilating activity.
