<p>The material is particularly suitable for welding low-alloy steels or for welding these steels to 12% chromium steel for use at temp. above 500 degrees C. It consists of the following parts, by weight:- 0.06 - 18% carbon, 0.25 - 1.2% manganese, 0.25 - 0.70% silicon, 1.0-1.8% chromium, 0.45 - 0.80% molybdenum, 0.40 - 0.80% tungsten and 0.001 - 0.10% zirconium, and it always contains 4.2 times more vanadium than carbon, down to a minimum of 0.4% vanadium.</p> |
