<p>The improved sun visor structure for motor vehicles is comprised of a fixing device (2) and a support (3) anchored to respective fixed points (F1, F2) of the structure of the motor vehicle, and to which is coupled a sun visor (1) wherein are incorporated a reinforcing metal rod (5), a hinge (6) and a securing bridge (7). In the support pin (9) of the device (2) coupled to the hinge (6) of the sun visor (1), and in the holding pin (14) of the bridge (7) coupled to the support (3), there are provided respective weakening grooves (11, 15). In the case of a collision, the breaking of said pins (9, 14) at the points corresponding to the weakening grooves (11, 15), causes the sun visor (1) to break free from the structure of the vehicle.
