Valve rotating device for gas changing valve of IC engine

The valve shaft of the gas changing valve (1) is surrounded by a spring. The spring is fixed between a lower spring disc or the cylinder head and an upper spring disc. There is an axial bearing between the upper spring disc and a moulded section which is fixed to the valve shaft. The axial bearing enables the unprevented rotary movement of the gas changing valve. The bearing enables a free-wheel whose rotary movement is limited by means of a locking mechanism of the gas changing valve. The free-wheel is enabled by three parts. Two parts, namely the tooth hub (7) and tooth ring have gearing on the front side. The tooth hub has only so much axial play that at the opening process of the gas changing valve, it can rotate unprevented. The third part, i.e. the support which is fixed on one side with the tooth ring and on the other side with the valve guide sleeve (6). The support surrounds the tooth ring from three sides. The support prevents a turning of the tooth hub at the closing process of the gas changing valve, and thereby produces a turning in addition to axial movement at the gas changing valve over the moulded part (4).
