Assembly for securing broken mobile bones in a single plane

In an assembly to secure healing broken bones in a single plane, the novelty is that: (a) a first fitting plate (10) having a connector (12) can be fixed on the bone by a first suitable fixing device ; (b) a second fitting plate (20) that has a second connector (22) can be secured to the bone by a suitable second fixing device (21); and (c) one or more fitting plates which can be secured to the bone by suitable means, and which have a connector on a joining element (30). The joining element (30) is on the connectors (12, 22), such that the relative movement of the fitting plates (10, 20) to each other is only along a single plane along a pre-determined distance.
