This is an electromagnetic motor (1) of the type including a stator (4), a rotor (6) mounted so as to rotate with respect to the stator (4), and a cage (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e) engaged fixedly with respect to the stator (4), this cage (2a-2e) including a bottom (18), a cover (22) and a body (20), the rotor (6) being mounted so as to rotate within the cage (2a-2e), this motor (1) being characterised in that the cage (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e) is produced from a synthetic material, while mechanical anchoring and positioning means, which leave the wall (P) of the body (20) of the cage (2a-2e) free are provided between its wall (p) and the stator (4).
