Plant for water treatment, especially with a view to making it drinkable, characterised in that it includes: - a reactor (1) defining at least one treatment chamber (2) including means (4) for delivering water to be treated inside the said chamber (2), means for purging floated contaminants (25) and means for purging settled contaminants (28); - a plurality of filter membranes (3) provided inside the said chamber (2) and intended to be immersed in the water to be treated; - means (5) for defining a filtration zone around each of the said membranes (3); - means for entraining and circulating allowing a stream of water to be treated to be guided in the said filtration zone along a preferred direction, the said means for entailing and circulating including means for ozone injection (6); - means for recovering the permeate (7) at the exit of the said filter membranes (3).
