<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the size and price of a device by arranging a conveying means which conveys recording paper to a fixing device on the toner image transfer surface side of the recording paper and providing a potential applying means which applies the conveying means with a potential having the same polarity with a toner image. CONSTITUTION:When the front end of the recording paper 8 moves onto a conveyor roller 13, the recording paper 8 is conveyed hereafter by this conveyor roller 13 as shown by an arrow (b). The conveyor roller 13 is positioned in contact with the surface of the recording paper 8 where the toner image 12 is transferred, so the toner image 12 is to contact the conveyor roller 13 as the recording paper 8 is conveyed, but the conveyor roller 13 is applied with the potential (e.g. -500V) having the same polarity as the electrostatic charging potential of the toner image 12 from a bias power source 14, so the toner image 12 is conveyed together with the recording paper 8 nearly without sticking on the conveyor roller 13 by electric repulsion. Thus, the recording paper 8 is sent in the fixing device, which fixes the toner image 12, so that the recording paper 8 is discharged from a printer.</p> |
