A method for obtaining 2-(2,4-difluorophenyl)-1,3-bis-(1H-1,2,4-triazolyl-1)propanol-2 as in formula 1, characterized in that halohydrin having the general formula 3, whereas X means a single atom of fluor, chlorine, bromium or iodine, is subjected to reaction with 4-amino-1,2,4-triazol, and then, the compound so obtained that has the general formula as in formula 4, where X means as above, is subjected to reaction with nitrous acid.<IMAGE>
