发明名称 PRESSURE SWING ADSORPTION METHOD FOR RECOVERING CARBON MONOXIDE FROM MIXED GAS
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the recovery efficiency in a pressure swing adsorption method for recovering carbon monoxide from mixed gas by introducing a gas for raising pressure in adsorption columns with the pressure increasing countercurrentwise to the flow of raw gas. CONSTITUTION:Equipment has four adsorption columns A-D and a compressor 11 for raw gas; the columns A-D are filled with an adsorbent which selectively adsorbs CO among the components in the raw gas. In the recovery of CO with such equipment, the exhaust gas is discharged from the adsorption columns by reducing the pressure to close to the atmospheric pressure after the adsorption process, and a part of the product gas is introduced in the adsorption columns to desorb components other than CO. In the next step, the product gas is recovered by the desorption of CO which is conducted by reducing the pressure in the columns to the atmospheric pressure or below. When the column pressure is increased after the recovery of the product, a gas for raising the pressure is introduced countercurrentwise to the flow of the raw gas, thereby improving the CO recovery efficiency.
