PURPOSE:To improve the work efficiency and labor safety as well by composing a press plate elevating device, of upper and lower rotors which are arranged to be confronted to each other at locations which are higher than the upper surfaces of upper and lower working floors, endless movable bodies on both sides, which are put around the upper and lower rotors, a driving means, and press plate suspending members which are arranged between the endless movable bodies on both sides. CONSTITUTION:When a press plate PP is suspended at a lower working floor F1, a gear motor 7B with a brake is started by an operation switch SW1, and a through shaft 2 is rotated by a driving sprocket wheel 7C, endless chain 7D and following sprocket wheel 7A. Then, endless chains 6a, 6b turn by lower sprockets 3a, 3b, and press plate suspending members 8, 8... are circulated in the vertical direction. The press plate suspending members 8, 8... are stopped at an appropriate location by the operation switch SW1, and the press plate PP is suspended. At an upper working floor F1, an operation switch SW2 is used. Also, a distance between the through shaft 2 and the upper surface of the lower working floor F2, and an interval between the press plate suspending members 8, 8... are made press plate suspending areas which are slightly longer than the press plate PP, and an interval between the confronted tips of upper sprockets 5a, 5b is made larger than the width of the press plate PP. |
