<p>PURPOSE:To cleanly brush interdental sections without moving a hand so much. CONSTITUTION:This electric toothbrush is constituted of a motor 4 provided with a pinion 6 on a drive shaft 5, a transmission member 8 provided with a face gear 9 meshed with the pinion 6 and a cam 10 having a sliding face in the direction perpendicular to the face gear 9, a cam follower 12 provided with a cam reaction section 12a reacted with the cam 10 and a brush fitting section 12b reciprocated in a straight line, a toothbrush 13 fitted to the brush fitting section 12b, and a vibrating means (rotary member 14) applying the vibration having an amplitude smaller than the linear reciprocating motion and a high frequency to the cam follower 12.</p> |
