PURPOSE:To prevent irregular decompression deformation occurring after hot filling of contents by using a copolymer polyester having, as a principal component, an ethylene terephthalate as a thermoplastic polyester to be molded by stretch blow molding, and specifying crystallinity of a side wall. CONSTITUTION:A bottle is molded by stretch blow molding of a thermoplastic polyester. A plurality of decompression absorbing faces 27, 27a, 29 are provided on a side wall as a shape of protruding face. Here, for the thermoplastic polyester, a copolymer polyester having an ethylene terephthalate as a principal component is used. The crystallinity of the side wall is maintained at 15-30% As a polyester, an ethylene terephthalate copolymer polyester which contains an isophthalic acid unit of l-3% as an acid component is used. A bottle body 1 is provided with a handle attaching part 9 and a label face 10 on its barrel. On the barrel excepting the handle attaching part 9 and the label face 10, the decompression absorbing faces 27, 27a, 29 are arranged as the shape of protruding face through connecting parts 28 and 30. |
