PURPOSE:To provide an image forming apparatus capable of always forming an image by detecting the residual amt. of toner by a simple method. CONSTITUTION:A float 30 is provided on the upper surface of the toner 14 stored in a toner case 15 and an indicator 32 is provided in synchronous relation to the height of the float 30 to indicate a toner residual amt. meter 33. The toner residual amt. meter 33 is provided at the position capable of always being observed by a user. |
