PURPOSE:To lower the solidification point of octamethyltetrasiloxane to widen the range of cleaning temp. CONSTITUTION:Octamethyltetrasiloxane is mixed with 20-50wt.% satd. hydrocarbon such as isoparaffin obtd. in a distillation range of 150 to 240 deg.C. Isoparaffin is so well compatible with octamethyltetrasiloxane that the mixture of both is lower in solidification point than octamethyltetrasiloxane having a solidification point of 17 deg.C, thus enabling cleaning therewith at low temps. |
