PURPOSE:To enable a window to be closed up by effectively avoiding a situation in which the window cannot be closed up because of sharp increase in load, as when the window is lifted. CONSTITUTION:A controller 11 controls relay switches 14, 15 in response to commands from command switches 13, 14 for lifting and lowering, and rotates a motor 16 to drive a window. A rotation detecting circuit 18 detects the rotary pulse of the motor 16 to detect any decrease in the speed at which the window is lifted so as to detect if anything is caught in the window, and a control circuit raises a threshold for setting detection sensitivity so as to correspond to the detection of the catching, thereby causing the motor to retry the action of lifting the window. In this case, the times of detection of the catching are counted and the threshold is increased to its maximum, and the times of detection are initialized on completion of closing-up of the window. |
