PURPOSE:To facilitate confirmation of safety of the inside and the outside of a toilet room by a method wherein when the toilet is in no use, the interior of the toilet room can be visible through a safety confirming window, and when in a use state, the outside is visible from the interior of the toilet room. CONSTITUTION:A safety confirming window 18 is formed such that opening closing operation is practicable only from the space side 9, i.e., the central side of the curvature of a door body 6. A wash stand 22 fixed to a floor is positioned outside a toilet room 2 when the boor body 6 is protruded in the toilet room 2 and meanwhile, when the door body 6 is protruded to the outside of the toilet room 2, it is positioned inside the toilet room 2. When the door body 6 is in an opened state, the wash stand 22 is freely usable and during the use of the toilet room, privacy is kept by a a blind 23. When a user wants to use a toilet, by operating a lever 20, a louver 19 is opened and the interior of the toilet room 2 is visible. Meanwhile, when the door body 6 is in a state to be protruded to the outside of the toilet room 2, by operating the lever 20 from the interior of the toilet room 2, safety of the outside can be confirmed. Since the lever 20 is arranged to the inside of the toilet room 2, looking in at the outside is prevented from occurring. |
