PURPOSE:To provide a method for stably producing a dry substance of alpha-L- aspartyl-L-phenylalanine methyl ester with a controlled moisture content. CONSTITUTION:This method for producing alpha-L-aspartyl-L-phenylalanine methyl ester is to dry a wet crystal of the alpha-L-aspartyl-L-phenylalanine methyl ester obtained by crystallization and separation, regulate the moisture content thereof to <=5[%] on the basis of wet weight, then flow a gas regulated to a temperature within the range of 20-80[ deg.C] and a relative humidity within the range of 20-90[RH%], bring the regulated gas into contact with the dried crystal and control the moisture content thereof. |
