PURPOSE: To provide a method and machine for producing an ice confectionery product whose ice cream part, especially at least its top face and side face, is perfectly coated by the dried grannular material in the form of grain flakes. CONSTITUTION: At least the upper/side faces of an iced ice cream part 5 are precoated by a liquid fat mixture 3 and next the surface of fat which is still soft is surrounded by a solid granular material to uniformly coat and next, excess solid grannular material is separated from it to re-circulate without a flaw. This machine is provided with a unit 1 for precoating the part 5 by the mixture 3, a grannular added unit 10 for forming a grannular layer surrounding at least the upper/side faces of the part 5, and an oscillation screw elevator 19 for separating the excess solid grannular material from it to re-circulate without a flaw. |
