ANTICORROSIVE COATING FOR STEEL RADIAL OR AXIAL BALL-BEARING

Steel radial or axial rolling bearing, has an anti-corrosion coating of electroplated zinc alloy at least on the running tracks. In rolling bearings fitted with seals between the outer and inner rings, the seal lip contact surfaces are pref. coated with electroplated zinc alloy. The anti-corrosion coating consists of zinc-iron, zinc-nickel or zinc-cobalt alloy, with a thickness of 0.1 - 3.0 microns. USE/ADVANTAGE - Useful for rolling bearings of steel subject to attack by corrosive media to provide long term corrosion protection.
