PURPOSE:To prevent igniting or smoking of an electronic component, etc., and to prevent igniting of a power source unit by integrally molding a rib with the periphery of a waste ink tank for mounting an ink jet printer in the lower case of an electronic apparatus for mounting the printer. CONSTITUTION:A waste ink tank 1 is mounted in the lower rear part of a printer 3. Then, the printer 3 is screw on a predetermined position of a lower case 5. In this case, the tank 1 is engaged with a recess 5d formed of a rib 5c integrally molded with the case 5. A plurality of through holes 5a are formed at the recess 5d, and ink flows externally from the case 5. In this case, when a pipe for connecting a recovery unit to the tank 1 is removed from the tank 1 and the ink is leaked therefrom, or when the tank 1 is fully filled with the ink so that the ink overflows, the ink is contained in the recess 5d of the case 5, and the ink flow externally from the holes 5a. Accordingly, the ink does not arrive at electronic components such as a power source unit, a printer board, a mother board, etc. Further, when it is removed to a side press injected to the recovery unit, the similar operation occurs. |
