PURPOSE:To realize an easy-of use heat reversible heat-sensitive recording medium, the obverse and reverse sides of which can be easily distinguished, which have been distinguished conventionally by trial printing or the like. CONSTITUTION:First heat-sensitive layer 9 and second heat-sensitive layer 10 are respectively applied on both obverse and reverse sides of base material 11. Further, the heat-sensitive layers are protected by over coating layer 12 so as to form heat-sensitive layers on both obverse and reverse sides of the base material 11. Furthermore, the color of at least some part of either the obverse side or reverse side of the base material is made different from that of the other side of the base material. Due to the constitution as mentioned above, infallible printing can be performed by a user without checking the obverse or reverse of recording medium at the mounting of the medium to a printing mechanism. |
