<p>PURPOSE:To perform high-precise detection of a progressing state from a torque phase under a shift to an inertia phase and to execute control an engine output to reduce the generation of a shift shock at an optimum timing based on the detecting result, in an automatic transmission. CONSTITUTION:A power train comprises an engine 1, a torque converter 2, and an automatic transmission 3. A transmission controller 5 to control a shift by the automatic transmission 3 is provided and an engine controller 10 to control an engine output is provided. A throttle opening signal Th, a signal Ne for the number of revolutions of an engine, a transmission output torque signal To, and a transmission output number of revolutions signal No are inputted to the transmission controller 5, by which shift control containing detection of a shift progressing state is effected. A torque down demand amount signal TD is inputted to the engine controller 10 and an engine output by which an engine output is increased or decreased by means of a torque down demand amount signal TD is controlled by the engine controller 10.</p> |
