PURPOSE: To provide a clip to effectively function by proper fastening force instead of ligature of sutures. CONSTITUTION: A suture clip 2 is composed of a first fastening member 4 having a first fastening surface 20, a second fastening member 14 having a second fastening surface 22 and plural legs 10 and 11 having oblique inside surfaces 6, lugs 8 and grooves 19. The plural legs are connected to the first fastening member, and are formed in a U shape together with the first fastening surface. The second fastening member is connected to the first fastening member by a hinge part 12 so as to be turnable. A suture is placed so as to cross the grooves and the first fastening surface, and the second fastening member is turned around a hinge, and is passed by contacting with the inside surfaces, and is fitted in between a U shape of the legs under the lugs. The suture is held between the first and the second fastening surfaces. The first and the second surfaces may be complementarily curved, and a groove may also be formed. |
