PURPOSE:To realize simply, rapidly and inexpensively collation and identification of a specified individual by gripping a handgrip with a hand, measuring a transmission loss value generated in an optical fiber and comparing with and collating the individual registered value of the transmission loss registered in advance. CONSTITUTION:A handgrip part 7 has an elastic material 1 and an optical fiber 2 is embedded spirally in the elastic material 1 and a consideration is given in such a way that an approximately the same force is applied on the embedded optical fiber 2 even when the handgrip 7 is gripped by a hand from any direction. In addition, a light source 4 generating a light, a light receiver 5 receiving the light and a transmission loss measuring part 3 comparing the generated light with the received light and detecting the transmission loss are provided. In addition, a data memory part 12 storing the registered value of the transmission loss for an individual is connected with the transmission loss measuring part 3 and a collating part 9 collating the loss value and the registered value of data, an electronic lock controlling part 10 controlling an electronic lock in accordance with the result in the collation and an electronic lock part 11 controlled thereby are provided. |
