ELECTRONIC SPHYGMOMANOMETER

PURPOSE:To enable the measuring of a correct blood pressure both on a wrist and on an upper arm with one unit of a sphygmomanometer which has hemostatic bands different for the wrist and for the upper arm according to mounting locations of the hemostatic bands. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus is provided with a hemostatic band 1 for an upper arm and a hemostatic band 2 for a wrist, connection plugs 6 and 7 to be combined exclusively for these hemostatic bands and a plurality of fine speed exhaust valves whose numbers opened are selected according to the exclusive connection plugs 6 and 7 on a piping path within the body of a sphygmomanometer. Thus, hemostatic bands 1 and 2 for the upper arm and the wrist and the plugs 6 and 7 exclusively for these hemostatic bands are used according to purposes and an exhaustion is performed corresponding to the hemostatic bands. This structure enables accurate measurement of a blood pressure both on the upper arm and on the wrist with one unit.
