发明名称 PRODUCTION OF CALCIUM CARBONATE DISPERSION AND FOOD COMPOSITION
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the dispersibility of calcium carbonate to an extremely high level and improve the storage stability of a food composition by adding water to a specific CaCO3, dispersing and crushing the obtained suspension under pressure and adding a hydrophilic emulsifier, etc., to the resultant slurry. CONSTITUTION:Powdery CaCO3 (A) having a water content of <=2wt.% after drying at 200 deg.C for 4hr and a specific surface area of 6-60m<2>/g determined by nitrogen adsorption method (BET method) is selected from CaCO3, etc. Water is added to the component A to prepare an aqueous suspension having a solid concentration of the component A of 1-60wt.% and the suspension is introduced into a chamber under an ejection pressure of 70-35,000kg/cm<2> and made to collide with a disk to obtain a CaCO3 slurry (B). The objective CaCO3 dispersion is prepared by adding water, etc., to the component B in such a manner as to satisfy the formula wherein P (mum) is weight (volume) average particle diameter in the particle size distribution of CaCO3 in the CaCO3 dispersion and Q (pts.wt.) is amount of the hydrophilic emulsifier having an HLB of >=10 and added to 100 pts.wt. of CaCO3 in the component C.
