PURPOSE: To form an image inside a transparent material by making use of a pulse laser beam. CONSTITUTION: A laser beam 3 is generated by a Q-switched laser with a limited diffraction. A small break point whose dimension is adjustable is formed at a point inside a transparent material 6 by precisely focusing the laser beam upon it. The laser beam 3 is periodically focused upon a preliminarily decided point in the transparent material 6. A sufficient power and laser pulse width are selected to form a small break in the transparent material 6. In order to form a next small break, the transparent material 6 and the laser beam 3 are dislocated from each other to decide another place where an image is reproduced. |
