<p>PURPOSE:To provide the novel hygienic material, such as physiological band and paper diaper, which is added with a water collapsing property in addition to a function as the hygienic materials, such as physiological band or paper diaper, which is indispensably charged and released into toilets after subjected to absorption of menstrual blood, urination and defecation. CONSTITUTION:This hygienic material has an absorbent sheet, such as physiological band or paper diaper and is formed by printing the surfaces of water-soluble polymer thin films of water collapsible sheets provided with the water-soluble polymer thin films selected from a polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene oxide and polyvinyl pyrrolidone with figures separated at a ratio of 40 to 60% opening rate by printing ink contg. a hydrophobic polymer. The water-collapsible hygienic material has the structure formed by printing the surfaces of the water-soluble polymer thin films of the water collapsible sheets provided with the water-soluble polymer thin films with the figures separated at the ratio of <=5% opening rate by the similar printing ink, superposing such thin films on each other with the printing surfaces positioned on the outer side and adhering the periphery.
