<p>PURPOSE: To provide a method and apparatus for being able to maintain always at nearly constant humidity, when drying a gas stream having a periodically fluctuating moisture content, by supplying the gas through a moisture adsorbing medium having a reversible moisture adsorption capacity is greater than the average moisture content of the gas. CONSTITUTION: A filler 2 of plastic particles is charged into a drying funnel 1 via an opening upward a drying funnel 1, the filler 2 after dried is discharged via a discharge hole 3 downward and introduced for production of plastic products. For drying the filler 2, a dry air supply pipe 5 is connected into the drying funnel 1 and the tube is ended at a distributor 6 near the discharge hole. When passing the dry air, which is introduced into the drying funnel 1 and elevated at a high temp. in heating device 7, through the filler 2 toward the arrow direction, the filler is dried, and wet air is supplied via a discharge pipe 8 into a dry air dryer 10, in which an adsorbing medium 26 such as silica gell is filled and a drying container 24 is contained, and redried.</p> |
