PURPOSE: To provide a method and a device for supplementing the opening and dust removing by the use of a kind of high-voltage static electricity. CONSTITUTION: A high-voltage power supply device 1, a set of card clothing- covered rollers 7, 8 (5 to 15 pieces) and a set of transmission motor and air intake device are incorporated into the device. Raw cotton supplied from a cotton supply device is transferred to the card clothing rollers 7, 8 by means of a feed roller 6 and receives an acting force of the card clothing and a tensile force due to the difference in the roller speeds. A high-voltage electrostatic field between the rollers 7, 8 are further applied to the raw cotton, which is stretched until it approaches the state of monofilament and then dust inside is dropped. Thus, the opening action of nonimpact system gives the opening system as well as dust removing action to the raw cotton. |
