PURPOSE:To obtain a printer which can reduce power consumption with a simple structure by melting ink in an ink cartridge by a thermal head and adhering molten ink to a predetermined recording medium. CONSTITUTION:Nitrogen gas is sealed in ink cartridges 15Y, 15M, 15C. As a result, toner 63 is brought into pressure contact with a carbon cloth net 54 under a predetermined pressure, and urged out from the cartridges 15Y, 15M, 15C to raise the speed of oozing from the net 54 of the molten toner 63. Thus, since a thermal response can be improved by a printer, a printing speed is improved. The molten toner 63 is adhered directly to a print sheet 16 through a sheet head 34 by a current from the head 34, thereby remarkably improving a thermal efficiency as compared with the case where a conventional thermal head is used. |
