摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a display panel featuring the easy manufacture by inverting the sequence to connect the column electrode to the picture element with every row electrode in the multiple matrix system to increase the brightness on the screen. CONSTITUTION:The 3-row picture element (cross-area between row and column electrodes in display substance) is formed to one row electrode. In such triple matrix system, the picture elements opposing to row electrode X1 are aligned from up to down in that order of 11A, 11B and 11C, and the picture elements opposing to row electrode X2 are arranged in the opposite order of 21C, 21B and 21A. Thus, the arrangement is inverted thereafter with every adjacent electrodes. in other words, picture elements 11A, 21A ..., 11B, 21B ... and 11C, 21C ... can be connected to column electrode Y1A, column electrode Y1B and column electrode Y1C respectively without any cubic crossing nor detouring, thus facilitating the manufacture. Thus, picture elements 11A, 11B and 11C of electrode X1 are driven in that order, and picture elements 21C, 21B and 21A of electrode X2 are driven in that opposite order respectively.
