摘要 According to the present method of optical measurement of shape of oblong objects, a reflector with a light source in front of it is placed to the opposite side of the object relative to the camera. The reflector is provided with a cross section shaped so that the rays emitted by the light source and reflected from a mirror converge at a focal point. The camera is placed to this point or an optically equivalent point, whereby the rays emitted by the light source and reflected from the mirror are aimed to enter the lens of the camera. According to the most advantageous embodiment of the invention to the opposite side of the object relative to the camera is placed an elliptical reflector having the light source placed at its first focal point. The camera is placed to the other focal point of the ellipse or an optically equivalent point, whereby the rays emitted by the light source and reflected from the elliptical reflector via the mirror are aimed to enter the lens of the camera.
