<p>In a gas filling process for insulating glazing, the glazing is arranged vertically with one of its panes resting only by its upper horizontal edge on the spacer frame supporting the other pane, the lower horizontal edge of this pane being spaced from the spacer frame. The lower horizontal open edge and the two (partially) open vertical edges of the glazing are sealed. Filler gas is introduced into the glazing interior in the region of one vertical edge; and air or an air/gas mixt. is withdrawn via the opposite open vertical edge.</p> |
