<p>The invention concerns a multi-channel headset with at least one acoustic transducer (3) located essentially in the centre of each earpiece (2a). In order to produce an auditory sensation emanating essentially from a point horizontally in front of the listener instead of in the centre of the listener's head, between the two earpieces, as is normally the case, the sound-emission surface of each acoustic transducer (3) is divided into two zones (4, 6) which have different acoustic resistances and are separated from each other by a dividing line (7), the more weakly acoustically damped zone (6) being located mainly below the entrance to the listener's ear while the other zone with greater acoustic damping lies mainly above the entrance to the ear.</p> |
