<p>Device comprising four lifting units (A), each provided with means linking them to the lower corner of the container, an underframe with rolling means, a hydraulic jack placed between the underframe and the linking means, and an electrohydraulic unit, and also an electric power and control station shared by the four units and connectable to each of them by electrical wiring. According to the invention, within each lifting unit the frame (7) is integral with the web of a C-shaped brace and is less high than the container. The C-shaped brace has, at its lower end, a horizontal bracket (8) capable of covering the outer angle of the lower corner (9) of the container (D), and, at its upper end, a horizontal bracket (9) capable of covering the angle side member of the container, while the lower corner linking means are carried by one of the lower bracket flanges (8), the other flange carrying a fixed positioning tenon (10) projecting from its inner face. Each unit is positioned by placing its longitudinal median plane in the vertical plane containing the bisecting line of the corresponding vertical angle of the container and by drawing the brackets towards said angle.</p> |
