Removal of pollutants and/or applied colour

Shredding the offcuts finely, by repeated mechanical action the process at the same time separates the applied colour and/or pollutants, "fading" the feedstock. It is esp. suitable where reprocessing is intended. An airstream removes the coloured material and/or the pollutants; which are removed by filtration. The appts. for the process is also claimed.
