Submersible swivelling marine fairlead

A submergible fairlead 6 for a mooring line 4 for use on a structure 1 at sea is rotatably mounted on a swivelling elongated rigid tube 3 mounted on the structure 1 and through which the mooring line passes, and the free end of which is equipped with a line stopper (8) with claws 9. The tube 3 is several metres in length. It causes direct transfer of the mooring forces to the structure 1 when the line stopper is activated.
