The joint seal (1) consists of a deformable elastic strip (4) made up of a internal part (5) fixed on the moulded piece (3) and an external part (6) making a projection. The external part (6) of the sealing strip (4) contains two elastically deformable lips (8,9) separating a groove (14). In this groove (14) is fitted an auxiliary sealing element (18) made up of an extruded section able to be introduced and maintained in a detachable way in it between the deformable lips (8,9). This makes a projection towards the exterior of the external part (6) in a way to improve the sealing on the part of the sealing strip (4) covered by the extruded sealing elements (18). |
