A restraint fixing for securing scaffolding to buildings comprises an anchoring element 10 and a securing assembly 12 having a pair of pivoting elements 22 with projecting lug members 26. Lugs 26 engage behind head portion 14 when the elements 22 are inserted into scaffolding pole P. A locating pin 30, having a resilient clip 34, extends through holes 32, 28, thereby securing the pole P to the assembly 12. The anchoring element 10 may be grouted into the wall (see figs 1, 2) of a building or otherwise secured to a building. <IMAGE> |
