PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts to obtain insulating effect, save labor for the assembly work, and at the same time, make lightening in weight possible by a method wherein a box body which is open on the bottom is formed by a top plate and side surface parts, and the side surface part is constituted of a panel with an air layer which is formed by a central core and flat plates which are placed on both sides of the core. CONSTITUTION:A housing 1 which is open on the bottom is formed by an air- conditioner top plate 11 and side plates 15, and at the same time, the side plate 15 is formed to have an air layer by a central core 16 and an inner wall side plate 17 and outer wall side plate 18 which are placed on both sides of the central core 16. Thus, by providing the corrugated central core 16 between the inner wall side plate 17 and outer wall side plate 18, the side plate 15 can keep rigidity against forces from respective directions. Also, since heat insulating effect can be obtained by the air layer, heat insulating material can be omitted. In addition, since the side plate 15 is made of plastic, it weighs lighter as compared with a side plate made of steel plate. |
