The wiper uses an intermediate piece (20), which is mounted to hinge on the main arm (10) about a hinge axis (38). This axis is generally perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the main arm and traverses through two parallel sides (16) of it. The axis also traverses through two parallel sides (26) of the intermediate piece. The body (44A, 44B) of the axis is generally cylindrical. It has a radial exterior collar (46A, 46B) which is connected to the body. This collar is held between an internal face (36) of the side of the main arm, and a corresponding external face of the adjacent side of the intermediate piece. |
