The leaf spring (20,24) fixed to the first connection half (12) engages in succession behind first and second steps, spaced apart in longitudinal direction, on the second half (14) when the halves are fitted together. A second leaf spring can be provided on one of the halves, engaging behind successive steps on the other. The rear step on the second half can be at a greater radius than the front one. This half can taper towards its tip from the front step.
